Over a nearly two-decade career, I have been tasked with writing everything from articles, essays and press releases to newsletters, corporate memos and research reports.

I’ve penned weekly columns that have gone out to an audience of more than 200,000 subscribers… award-winning flash fiction… and narrative nonfiction pieces that have evoked laughter, groans and even the occasional shaking fist.

One Detroit poet, whom I deeply respect, called me “one of the most interesting writers [he’s] had the pleasure of reading in a long, long time.”

He also called me a “dork of great magnitude.”
